The NI FP-CTR-500 and NI FP-CTR-502 are versatile 8-channel counter modules for the FieldPoint I/O system. Each module includes eight 16-bit counters, complemented by four gate inputs and four outputs, that can be configured to operate in a number of different modes. The FP-CTR-500 works with 10 to 30 VDC sourcing devices, while the FP-CTR-502 works with 5 to 30 VDC sinking devices, including TTL and CMOS. Configurable lowpass filters for counter inputs, cascadable counter channels, and internal frequency references make these robust and versatile general-purpose counter modules.
