Description : Remanufactured Perkin Elmer 4450 Sputtering System. Water-cooled, stainless steel process chamber. Table drive assembly with new table lift motor and precision stepping motor for rotation. Process chamber is pumped by model CTI-8 cryo pump with model 8200 compressor. Stainless steel load lock chamber. Sputtering top head configured for three standard Perkin Elmer delta magnetron cathodes. One 5 KW Advanced Energy DC power supply model MDX-5. One cathode switch box for switching the DC power between cathodes. One Advanced Energy 1250W RF power supply with automatic impedence match box. Two MKS mass flow controller calibrated for 100 sccm of nitrogen, with capacity for a third MFC. One 100 millitorr full scale temperature compensated capacitance manometer. One VAT servo-controlled throttling high vacuum valve with PM-5 controller. System is configured for down-stream, closed-loop pressure control. Chamber will be electro-polished. State-of-the-art DeviceNet communications are used throughout the system, improving down-time, eliminating mis-wiring, and simplifying troublshooting and future upgrades. System has: New PLC. New computer with R/W CD drive. New color touchscreen monitor. New vacuum gauges. New gas flow controls. New wiring. New pnuematics. New motor/motion systems. New plumbing and flow sensors. New safety system. New seals and o-rings. New relays for cathode selection.
