The Heraeus universal Megafuge 2.0R with refrigeration is the ideal instrument for all routine laboratory separation processes. Megafuge 2.0 is designed to handle greater capacities, up to 76 blood collection tubes or 16 "Falcon"-type tubes (50 mL) can be processed at one time. The Megafuge 2.0R features a microprocessor controller and LED displays which indicate speed, RCP and runtime. Quick run function makes centrifugation convenient. Soft-start/soft-brake ensures gentle centrifugation. Controlled braking for sensitive samples. Brushless induction drive is quiet and maintenance free. Automatic lid lock. Imbalance detector for user safety. Timer = 1-99 min. or hold. Speed = max 15,000rpm. The Megafuge 2.0R uses CFC free refrigerant, contains a stainless steel rotor chamber, and indicates the temperature on an LED display.
