Condition Description
This refrigerated benchtop centrifuge is in great cosmetic and functional condition. The fixed-angle rotor is in excellent condition and can accommodate up to 30x 1.5-2.0 mL tubes. Pitting has began in the chamber, but this does not appear to hinder functionality. Adequate drying of the chamber condensate post-use will prolong the instrument's cosmetic wear (rusting).

Testing & Evaluation
New Life Scientific technicians have confirmed this instrument is fully-functional and considerably clean. This instrument operates smoothly and quietly, with the compressor turning on and off as cooling is needed. The instrument was tested at 20,800 RCF/14,000 RPM without any issues arising; testing was not performed 16,400 RPM, because the rotor speed specifications is only 14,000 rpm. The chamber was chilled to -9 degrees C and features a fast cool option to -6 degrees Celsius, meeting manufacturer specifications. All buttons work well and the rotor is in excellent condition.
