The Beckman Coulter ProteomeLab PA 800 System with LIF resolves and quantifies proteins by their isoelectric point and molecular weight, generates high-resolution peptide maps and carbohydrate profiles, and provides front-end separation to mass spectrometry. Beckman Coulter's expertise in capillary electrophoresis and automation technologies ensures comprehensive in-solution protein characterization for optimal proteomics discovery in the ProtemoeLab PA 800. This system employs the proteomic process of identification, isolation, fractionation, characterization, evaluation, and diagnosis for the best possible results within your research. The LIF option utilizes a 488 nm air-cooled Argon Ion Laser for measuring and recording fluorescence.
The PA 800 allows identification via flow cytometry, automated fuorescence microscopy, microarray technology, and cell viability analysis; isolation via general purpose and high performance centrifugation, ultracentrifugation, centrifugal elutriation, and automated liquid handling; fractionation via high performance centrifugation, ultracentrifugation, and liquid chromatography; characterization via capillary electrophoresis/mass spectrometry, spectrophotometry, protein characterization in solution, and automated protein crystallization; evaluation via microarray technology and software solutions; and diagnosis via automated immunoassay, flow cytometry, electrophoresis, immunochemistry, and immunofixation.
The ProteomeLab PA 800 can be used for most proteomic processes, including cellular isolation, protein fractionation, subcellular fractionation, protein characterization, antigen identification, data evaluation, and disease diagnosis.
