The H500/SA2500 Handheld Spectrum Analyzer Series will help you to easily scan, classify and locate signals of interest in the field environment. Scan the environment to discover spectrum events other analyzers will miss, when using the unique DPX® waveform image processor technology, which provides a live RF view of the spectrum. Classify signals of interest with the built-in, user-defined signal database. Locate signals quickly using the integrated GPS mapping solution.  The ruggedized design, with a hot swappable battery, is optimized to help you in the toughest of environments.

  • Benchtop spectrum analyzer performance in a ruggedized handheld battery-operated field unit offers better than 70 dB spurious free dynamic range (SFDR), guaranteed ≤-95 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset phase noise specifications from 10 kHz to 6.2 GHz
  • DPX® Live RF Spectrum Display: Discover events as short as 125 µs with 100% Probability of Intercept (POI)
  • Improved spectrum awareness with high-accuracy measurement synchronization and time stamping
  • Excellent sensitivity for detecting very low-level signals with -153 dBm DANL at 10 Hz RBW (equivalent to -163 dBm/Hz) such as RF bugs and unauthorized transmitters
  • DPX Spectrum Mask: Capture and act on signals of interest easily with the automatic and editable spectrum mask
  • Built-in Mapping: Populate measurement results from signals of interest on a map with the built-in GPS receiver and automated GPS mapping functionality.  Easily and simply triangulate on the location of interferers
  • Signal Classification and Open Signal Database: Use the provided signal database to quickly identify known signals from unknown signals.  Open database structure allows you to easily add new signal types as needed
  • Built-in Versatile Field Measurements: Quickly measure common field test parameters such as Spectrum, Spectrogram, Field Strength, Signal Strength, Channel Power, OBW, Audio Demodulation, and more
  • Hunt in-building signals with a single-touch Tap-and-Walk-and-Tap interface
  • Ability to export I/Q data into CSV, MATLAB®, and IQT format for additional post-analysis
  • Tools to Automate Common Tasks: Automate common tasks like receiver emulation for field use with the macros and programmatic interface
  • Remote Measurements for Multiple Instruments: Monitor multiple locations by connecting more than one unit via LAN interface; Ideal for remote control and unattended monitoring stations for spectrum awareness
  • Backlit display, viewable in direct sunlight, and extended battery performance with hot-swappable dual batteries
  • Extended Battery Life: Test up to 5 hours with the extended battery life and industry's only hot swap power system

  • H500: Real-time spectrum analyzer with DPX™ Live RF spectrum display of 125 μs minimum signal duration for 100% Probability of Intercept (POI) and signal classification capability
  • SA2500: Real-time spectrum analyzer with DPX™ Live RF spectrum display of 500 μs minimum signal duration for 100% Probability of Intercept (POI)
    • Option EP1: Enhances SA2500 DPX™ Live RF spectrum display to 10,000 spectrums/sec and 125 μs minimum signal duration for 100% Probability of Intercept (POI)
    • Option EP2: Enhances SA2500 by adding signal classification to the Spectrum Notes capability. Provides capability to notate regions of RF spectrum. Provides capability to compare bandwidth, channel frequency, etc., to internal tables of standards. Can save a mask (stored display) of user-generated mask to enable spectrum violation measurement. Provides database to store these notation results, along with GPS location and time
