Electrochemical Interface
The Solartron Analytical´s 1287 is an Electrochemical Interface with a research grade high accuracy, wide bandwidth potentiostat/galvanostat, which offers a full range of ac/dc test capabilities, when coupled with a frequency response analyzer.
Central to the measurement capability are two high resolution digital voltmeters which provides simultaneous voltage and current measurements
Excellent measurement resolution and accuracy down to 1 μV for the references electrodes and 1 pA for the working electrode, an ideal choice for electrochemical noise applications or measurements where signal levels are extremely low
Uses floating measurements on all connections
Complete flexibility for cell connection: 2-, 3- or 4 -terminal measurements can be made easy
Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) to enhances the information about reaction mechanism available from dc techniques, unsurpassed matches the flatness and linearity of its frequency response
With 1287/1260 combination characterizing cells with a very wide range of impedances is possible
When making high frequency impedance measurements, Solatron Analytical´s driven shield technology minimizes the unwanted effects of cable impedance enabling 1287 to be used over a full 10 μHz to 1 MHz frequency range
Designed to carry out both dc and ac tests: an externally generated waveform from a frequency response anlyzer or spectrum analyzer can be added to the polarization signal
Electrochemical software: CorrWare and ZPlot packages are specifically designed to run a wide range of electrochemical tests, incl.: impedance, potentiostatic/galvanostatic techniques, cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical noise, etc..
