Thermo Scientific 3200 Scribe

This used Thermo Model 3200 ID Scribe is in good cosmetic condition, with minor wear from age and use. New Life Scientific technicians have evaluated this instrument by loading the software, powering the instrument on, and uploading text to inscribe on the samples. The Scribe software is compatible with Windows 7; it is advertised to work with XP, but the technicians were unable to get the printer to function with an XP operating system. The cause of this error may be repaired if Microsoft has an update or download to make the software compatible, but the technicians are not certain. This ad includes the ID Scribe software and USB driver software on discs, four tube racks, and a rack spacer. The spacer compensates for the height difference of tubes setting horizontally, for writing along the side of the sample. There are additional rack options (not included) that allow the printer to write on the top of the samples. The software has a number of parameters pre-defined for Thermo racks. If the customer has a custom rack or wishes to define axis parameters to meet the rack dimensions. Please note that the printer requires a spreadsheet to upload the text data for the Scribe.
