Compliance West HT-3500S-RF AC/DC Portable Rugged Hipot Tester. It is encased in a shipping enclosure roomy enough for cables or a DVM, with all controls accessible without removing it from the enclosure. This rugged hipot comes with an adjustable ground continuity test in range of 0.08 - 1.50 Ω, and Auto-offset for test leads up to 1.00 Ω. Performs 0-2500 AC or 0-3500 DC Hipot Test. Neutral/Hot to Ground Leakage current test up to 20 mA AC or 5 mA DC. Easy to use and connect. Ships complete with cables, manual, and a Calibration Certificate. The instrument is a bench-type Dielectric Withstand Tester with AC and DC Output, designed for production line testing. The HT-3500S-RF features automatic one button operation, with numerous safety features designed to protect the operator. The continuity test/dielectric withstand test is a production line test which is recognized by safety agencies worldwide as a valid criterion of safe assembly of end-use equipment. The test ensures that the primary circuit power and ground conductors were properly wired and connected for safe operation. It also applies a high-voltage potential between power and ground conductors to make sure that no unintentional leakage or arcing paths exist between power and ground. The test consists of a ground continuity check, a leakage current check and a high voltage check. It is non-destructive to the equipment under test, and can be accomplished in a short time.
