National Instruments PCI-6025E Multifunction DAQ
National Instruments created the PCI-6025E (Part Numbers: 188218-01, 777744-01), a flexible PCI Multifunction I/O Device, for dependable data acquisition (DAQ) in a range of industrial applications. With two analog output channels and 32 lines of digital I/O, it combines analog and digital I/O capabilities, making it useful for jobs ranging from manufacturing test setups to laboratory automation.There are 16 analog input channels available on this DAQ device, and they can be set up as differential or single-ended inputs. With a resolution of 12 bits, its successive approximation type analog-to-digital converter (ADC) ensures accurate measurements. Providing a 200 kS/s assured sampling rate, it enables quick and precise data collection. Only bipolar input signal ranges are supported, and each input may handle voltages up to ±11 V from ground.
With its remarkable transfer characteristics—which include a maximum undithered relative precision of ±1.5 LSB and a typical relative accuracy of ±0.5 LSB—the device guarantees dependable performance in data collecting jobs. Low input bias and offset currents are other features of the amplifier, as is high input impedance in both powered-on and powered-off conditions. In order to minimize interference from common mode signals, the device also provides an outstanding common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) across a range of strength levels. The PCI-6025E has two voltage output channels with a resolution of 12 bits on the output side. It offers direct memory access (DMA) with a maximum update rate of 10 kHz, as well as interrupt and programmed I/O data transmission modes.
Smooth and precise analog output is made possible by the double-buffered and multiplying digital-to-analog converter (DAC). The National Instruments DAQ-STC system timing controller is also integrated into the PCI-6025E for accurate timing operations. It facilitates the smooth integration of numerous measurement functions into intricate measurement setups by utilizing the Real-Time System Integration (RTSI) bus to synchronize them to a single trigger or timing event. This device makes setup and measurements easier with its compatibility with the NI-DAQmx driver and configuration software. Furthermore, it facilitates the integration of sensor and high-voltage measurement capabilities with signal conditioning modules like SCC or SCXI.
The PCI-6025E is no longer available from NI (National Instruments), but the Multifunction DAQ will remain available in perpetuity for either purchase or repair services with Apex Waves!
