National Instrument's PCIe-6341 (Part Number: 781046-01, 194986E-03L) is a multifunction data acquisition (DAQ) device that is intended to provide high-performance functionality for a range of industrial automation applications. The PCIe-6341 also has four 32-bit counters/timers that can measure edge counting, pulse width, and quadrature encoding, among other things.
The enhanced timing functionality and retriggerable measurement tasks offered by NI-STC3 timing and synchronization technology are features of these counters. Applications including data logging, test automation, and control systems are good fits for this device. Custom measurement systems and control algorithms are simple to design using NI-DAQmx driver support and user-friendly graphical programming software.
