The analyzer is ideally suited to installation, maintenance, commissioning, system verification and manufacture of SDH/SONET transport networks and network equipment.

The Agilent OmniBER 718 (37718A) communications performance analyzer is a single-box portable multi-rate BER and jitter tester up to 2.5 Gb/s (OC-48/STM-16) for development, qualification and manufacture of SONET, SDH, ATM and POS network equipment, sub-assemblies, line cards and devices.

    • The 37718A optical receiver operates over the range 1200 to 1600 nm. Sensitivity and maximum input power specifications are valid in defined wavelength ranges
