National Instruments sbRIO-9609 CompactRIO Single-Board Controller
Featured with LVDS and TSN support, the sbRIO-9609 (Part Numbers: 787289-01 and 787289-02) is a CompactRIO Single-Board Controller from National Instruments. This Controller comes equipped with a reconfigurable FPGA, a real-time processor, and a versatile range of digital I/O, all printed on a single PCB. The NI sbRIO-9609 features 2 Ethernet connectors (Gigabit), 1 RS-232 port, 1 high-density RMC connector, and 1 CAN port. The mezzanine connector incorporated in this Controller provides connectivity options for 2 C Series I/O modules and 96 single-ended or 45 differential pairs of digital I/O lines.
This CompactRIO Single-Board Controller fully supports NI-DAQmx for onboard I/O, C Series modules, and I/O expansion through FieldDAQ or CompactDAQ. The National Instruments sbRIO-9609 has 1 USB 2.0 device port and 1 USB 3.1 host port. This CompactRIO Single-Board Controller has an integrated, high-performance Ethernet controller that can achieve synchronization at an accuracy of <1 microsecond. The availability of redundant Ethernet ports enables you to build a robust and reliable control network with primary and secondary links. Moreover, you can achieve remote control through secure Ethernet links with your NI sbRIO-9609 Controller.
The sbRIO-9609 comes equipped with an internal, real-time clock that can operate with an accuracy of 200 ppm. The availability of an internal clock makes this Controller capable of operating in complete synchronization with other device and control systems. The serial port incorporated in this Controller supports an arbitrary bit rate and is designed to operate with a maximum baud rate of 921,600 b/s with 5, 6, 7, and 8 data bits.
sbRIO-9609 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the CompactRIO Single-Board Controller will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
